Hi Reader,
I've got this theory I've been testing out on myself, and I wanted to share it with you.
We live in a very digital world obsessed with MORE.
- More followers
- More customers
- More revenue
- More recognition
But what people tend to forget is that to stand out, you need to do the opposite. Why? Because trends are -- and have always been -- a pendulum.
What if your quality of life became the new status symbol?
- Instead of a million followers, you have the right ones
- Instead of traffic, you have engagement
- Instead of a million-dollar enterprise, you have a $100K boutique.
That may not grant you a spot in the Hamptons, but it'll allow you to grab lunch with your partner on a Tuesday afternoon. It'll grant you extra vacation time.
You can either have quantity or quality.
Quantity: You need a lot of people to sell something cheap to.
Quantity: You only need the right people to sell something premium to.
The difference is the value you're providing; you can sell $200-worth of value to a 6-figure following, or a $10K experience to a 500-person audience.
There's not a right or wrong answer, just preference.
Hope you found this useful! Next newsletter will be coming at you again in a couple weeks. :)
Onward,
